When exploring new ventures, one of the primary forethought should obviously be, “How do we monetize this?” The feasibility of your answers to that question often kills many otherwise cool ideas. Such would have probably been the case with Today in Art, but we loved the idea so much that I bought into 1/2 ownership when it was just getting started. Today in Art is a website that was originally developed by my friend, Jeff Rainey, to showcase many different, unique and little known styles of art. The sites traffic is continually growing and we have come to learn that traffic = money (monetization factor resolved). The most exciting thing is that the primary core of our traffic is based out of the two art centers of the United States – Los Angeles and New York City. Check us out at todayinart.com.
