I have generally said, “It’s not worth reading if I don’t need a pen for underlining and making notes while reading.” Well, I read this one anyway. I haven’t read a political thriller, fiction novel in at least a decade. My interest in this one was peaked by the collaboration of Clinton and Patterson. As these types of books go, this was a good one. It was a quick and fun read. The redeeming quality for the time I spent came in the last chapter, written by Clinton. Here we gain some insight into the heart of a man that I rarely agreed with politically, but always respected as a strategist and leader.
