I recently read The Comfort Crisis: Embrace Discomfort to Reclaim Your Wild, Happy, Healthy Self by Michael Easter based on the suggestion of my friend, Paul Provance.
The first 13 chapters are about a sports writer who went on a caribou hunt in Alaska. In chapter 14, he starts connecting his story to the benefits of how humans lived before all the conveniences of the modern world came along. I found the last 4 or 5 chapters to be really interesting and thought provoking about new ways to manage my health. I appreciated that and found it a worth while read that caused me to rethink some things.
